Pema Lisa Antoniotti, APC is a Certified Yoga Therapist and the Co-Founder of Joyful Path Meditation and Healing Center, where she serves as a teacher and administrator. Pema began practicing mindfulness meditation in 1995 and Tibetan Buddhist meditation in 2001. She began an Ashtanga yoga practice in 1998 and completed her first Alignment Yoga teacher training in 2008. Pema is certified in Yoga of the Heart with Nischala Joy Devi, former Director of Stress Management for Dean Ornish’s Lifestyle Heart Trial and co-founder of the Commonweal Cancer Program. Pema has been a student of Domo Geshe Rinpoche since 2001, ordained Buddhist since 2003, and a Dharma Teacher in training since 2004.
Pema completed a Masters of Adult Education Program with an emphasis on Human Services and Counseling at UW Platteville and is currently in a Doctorate program at Claremont. Pema has over 20 years experience working in various aspects of state government, nonprofit and corporate America, including management consulting. She served on the Meriter Association of Spiritual Caregiver’s Faith Ambassador steering committee, helping to educate faith communities about Advance Care Planning. Pema is past President of the Board of Directors for White Conch and is currently leading program development at Joyful Path. She also serves as a hospital chaplain and as the Program Coordinator for the Foundations of Yogic Healing program.
