Overcoming Fear and Anger

Prairie UU Church, 2010 Whenona Dr, Madison, WI 53711

A Domo Geshe Rinpoche event! Feeling the world growing more divided? Wondering how to cultivate inner peace in the face of it all? Many of us experience anger and fear in response to the world’s divisiveness. Buddhism offers a powerful tool to navigate these emotions through the practice of loving kindness. This practice offers an opportunity to cultivate kindness and compassion, not just for friends and family, but for everyone – even those with whom we disagree.

Explore how loving kindness meditation can help you reduce anger and fear, and develop a sense of calm and well-being. Join us on Saturday for a deep dive into Loving kindness meditation and learn this simple yet powerful practice to discover how it can transform your experience of the world.

Domo Geshe Rinpoche is a reincarnate Lama of the Geluk tradition of Tibetan Buddhism and the Spiritual Director of White Conch Dharma Center. Rinpoche is also the founding Spiritual Director of Joyful Path. The Domo Geshe Rinpoche lineage includes Je Pabongka Rinpoche, Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche, and the great Geshe Jampa Chombe. With warmth and humor, she teaches timeless and universal spiritual truths that are not restricted by language or culture. Rinpoche has taught internationally on how to overcome the mental obstacles of stress, anger, worry, and discouragement so we can reach our highest potential – a heart of authentic compassion and wisdom. Rinpoche is able to bring the Mahayana and Tantric traditions into sharp focus with a rich array of techniques.
