Through story and play, this quiet social time will introduce children ages 6 to 12 to important principles like cultivating kindness, practicing ways to self-regulate, and common Buddhist principles. We will practice calming our body with a short mindfulness exercise. Children will have opportunities to explore through arts, crafts, chanting, discussion, meditation, and simple yoga exercises. Hand-on on activities on the life of the Buddha and Buddhist symbols will be offered.

We would like to make this activity sustainable for all parts of our community. We ask parents to consider supporting the group at one of the following levels:
$40 Basic covers expenses only for the series (space/supplies)
$80 Sustainer ensures long-term sustainability of this program
$120 Scholarship allows us to provide a scholarship for another student
