12:00 Consecration Ceremony
Domo Geshe Rinpoche will conduct a consecration of the building at noon for those who would like to attend. Although the ceremony can differ from space to space, it typically begins in the main hall with short prayers. Rinpoche may walk through the house and stop in each room, blessing each space for the residents as well as the main areas. The group in attendance will remain in the common area, and then gather outside to circumambulate the building, participate in a smoke offering and/or participate in a traditional blessing where we toss barley flour into the air.
12:30-5 Potluck Lunch and Open House
We will have a potluck lunch and dessert bar during the open house, building tours and more.
5:00 Final Meditation of the Day
This will be a silent sit for those who would like to lend their prayers for our sacred space. The upper library will be open for the recitation of scripture from any tradition.
