SUMMARY:Refuge Retreat
DESCRIPTION:During this retreat, we will explore the meaning of refuge in daily life; its qualities, motivation, and benefits, and how refuge can deepen from a search for safety into faith and, ultimately, great compassion for others.Refuge is the doorway to every Buddhist path and far more than a one-time ceremony. In this recorded intensive, we will learn the Geluk merit field visualization from the Lam Rim, review how to incorporate the extensive practice of refuge into the Green Light sadhana, and explore students’ questions about refuge visualization. Time to practice is included.Prerequisite: This intensive is limited to students who have regularly practiced Green Light for at least one year.Local students are expected to attend in person unless special circumstances prevent this. Zoom participation is not available for local students.Scholarships and volunteer exchange options are available if needed. Please get in touch with us soon so we can find an option that works for you.
