Practical Buddhist Wisdom: Fall 2026 Series
What if happiness isn’t something we find, but something we learn to cultivate? We all want to be happy. But why is it that even when we get what we want, the happiness doesn’t always last? In this fall/winter series, we explore the Buddha’s Four Noble Truths as a practical guide to understanding suffering, discovering the possibility of freedom, and learning how to create the causes and conditions for genuine happiness. The first three parts explore the nature of suffering, its causes, and the possibility of freedom. The remaining nine sessions explore the the Buddha’s practical roadmap for cultivating wisdom, compassion, ethical integrity, and a more liberated way of living.
Join us at any time—each session stands on its own while contributing to the larger journey. We have a rotating list of teachers from the White Conch Lamas and Lamas in training that lead this session every week.
